Use and classification of high pressure pipe fittings
High-pressure pipe fittings are pipes that can withstand pressure and are used to transport liquids. There are many types of pipes, including steel pipes, copper pipes, stainless steel pipes, and others. They are mainly used to manufacture carbon structural steel and alloy structural steel high-pressure pipes for steam boiler pipes with high pressure and above.
High-pressure pipe fittings are suitable for special environments such as high-pressure steam equipment, chemical high-temperature and high-pressure pipelines, pressure vessels of power plants and nuclear power plants, and high-pressure boiler accessories. It is a general term for parts that play a role in connection, control, reversal, diversion, sealing and support in the pipeline system.
Classification of high-pressure pipe fittings
1. Pipe fittings used for pipeline connection include flanges, flexible joints, pipe clamps, fixture groups, etc.
2. Pipe fittings that change the direction of the pipeline: elbows.
3. Variable diameter: reducer (reducing pipe) and reducing elbow.
4. Pipe fittings for adding branches: tees and crosses.
5. Pipeline sealing: gaskets, raw material belts, silk hemp, flange blind plates, pipe plugs.
6. Pipe fixing: clamps, hooks, rings, brackets, brackets, pipe clamps, etc.
High-pressure pipe fittings can be divided into four categories according to the connection method: sleeve, thread, flange and welding.
There are many precautions for the use and maintenance of stainless steel elbows. The use measures and precautions of stainless steel elbows are as follows:
1. Stainless steel elbows that have been stored for a long time should be inspected as planned. Keep them clean at all times, clean the exposed surface, remove dirt, and store them neatly in a ventilated place indoors. Stacking or open-air storage is prohibited. Adhere to the dry ventilation of stainless steel elbows, clean the equipment, and store them according to the correct storage method.
2. When using the equipment, the stainless steel elbow can be directly installed on the pipeline according to the connection method, and the equipment can be executed according to the use position. Generally, it can be located anywhere in the pipeline, but it needs to be easy to operate. Note that the flow medium of the stainless steel elbow should flow upward from the bottom of the longitudinal valve, and the stainless steel elbow can only be a horizontal device. The stainless steel elbows in the equipment should be sealed to avoid large-scale leakage and affect the normal operation of the pipeline.
3. When using stainless steel elbow ball valves, stop valves and gate valves, they can only be opened and closed, and flow adjustment is not allowed to avoid corrosion of the sealing surface and accelerated wear. Gate valves and upper threaded stop valves are equipped with rear sealing devices, and the handwheel is fixed at the top to prevent leakage of the filling point medium.
4. Make stainless steel elbows with handwheels. Do not use levers or other tools to avoid damage to valve parts. Turn the handwheel clockwise to close, and vice versa.
5. The bolts on the valve packing cover should be tightened evenly and should not be pressed into a bent state to avoid contact or interference with the movement of the valve stem or cause leakage.
6. It should be kept clean during use, and the driving thread needs to proceed smoothly as planned. Once a fault is found, it should be stopped immediately and the cause of the fault should be found out.
